🎬 What To Do Next

PHASE 1: Test Your System (5 minutes)

  1. Open Code-Forge UI:

    http://localhost:5173

  2. Select "Pistn" KB from the sidebar

  3. Click "Chat" tab and ask:

"What information is available about appointments in the documentation?"

Expected result: Claude responds with information from your actual documents, no hallucinations!

  4. Check the response time: Should be 25-30 seconds (first time) or ~10-15s if cache was warm

  5. Look for sources: Should show which documents were used

PHASE 2: Create Agent OS KB (10 minutes)

  1. In left sidebar, click "+" next to "Knowledge Bases"

  2. Fill in:

    • Name: Pistn Agent OS (or similar)
    • Type: Select "Agent OS"
    • Description: "Pistn Agent OS profile"
  3. Click "Create KB"

  4. Select the new KB from the sidebar

  5. Click "KB Management" tab

  6. You'll see the help box! It shows:

    🤖 Agent OS Knowledge Base

    1️⃣ CRITICAL - product/mission.md, tech-stack.md, standards/global/*
    2️⃣ DOMAIN - standards/backend/* or standards/frontend/*
    3️⃣ EXAMPLES - specs/* files

PHASE 3: Upload Pistn Agent OS Files (15 minutes)

  1. Use UPLOAD_CHECKLIST.md to get the exact paths

  2. Navigate to: /Users/iamanmp/Projects/pistn/agent-os/

  3. Upload in batches:

    • Batch 1 (CRITICAL): 10 files from product/ and standards/global/
    • Batch 2 (DOMAIN): 4 files from standards/backend/ or standards/frontend/
    • Batch 3 (EXAMPLES): 7 files from specs/
    • Batch 4 (OPTIONAL): Any other spec files
  4. Watch progress: UI shows upload percentage

  5. See stats update: Document count increases as files upload

PHASE 4: Query Your Agent OS KB (5 minutes)

  1. Click "Chat" tab (with the Agent OS KB selected)

  2. Ask a Pistn question:

"What are the Pistn API design standards?"

  3. Claude responds with information from your actual Agent OS profile!

  4. Try another query:

"How should I implement a new feature in Pistn?"

  5. See it uses your conventions, standards, and examples

PHASE 5: Connect to Claude Desktop (5 minutes)

  1. Your MCP server is ready at: http://localhost:8051/mcp

  2. Add to Claude Desktop:

    claude mcp add code-forge http://localhost:8051/mcp

  3. In Claude Desktop, you can now:

"Search my Pistn knowledge base for appointment handling"

  4. Claude uses your MCP server to access your knowledge bases!

📊 Performance Expectations

Metric Value Notes

🔧 If Something Goes Wrong

Problem: "Server not responding"

./restart_services.sh

Problem: "Models not found"

docker exec code-forge-ollama ollama list

Problem: "Can't upload files"

  1. Check KB exists: Click refresh in sidebar
  2. Check disk space: Should have 10GB+ free
  3. Check logs: docker-compose logs -f app

Problem: "Queries are slow"

# Check if cache is working:
docker logs code-forge-app 2>&1 | grep -E "Creating|Using cached"
