Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Summary
Pastes stored in SQLite have no expiry time or TTL. The database will grow without bound and there is no cleanup mechanism.
Details
In
forge-paste.py, thepastestable has noexpires_atcolumn and no scheduled purge:There is also no
DELETEorVACUUMcall anywhere in the codebase.Suggested Fix
expires_atcolumn (e.g. default 30 days from creation)--max-ageCLI flag (default: 30 days)Also: IP addresses stored without expiry
Client IPs are logged to the
ipcolumn with no TTL or privacy notice. These should either be dropped or expire with the paste.
